Human interest

 

I’ve written a good number of feature stories about a wide spectrum of people I’ve met over the years. I’ve quite often felt like Charles Kuralt “…on the back roads of America.” These have often been about people with inspiring, heartwarming, even quirky stories. I’ve written them for newspaper articles, for my blog, more recently for my wife’s magazines…

 

The following was written for one of Liz’s magazines and revolves around a Boy Scout leader with a great message. It’s actually a quite wholesome message that harkens back to, say, the 1950s – which is part of where we’d like to see America go at this point…
